G3 Billet Top

RMS Hardware - RMS Hardware is known to be the best in the industry. Nothing is spared in RMS hardware design. The S62 Bracketry is carved from a solid chunk of 6061 Aviation grade aluminum. Sculpted to support all components and systems intergation. The bracket supports the supercharger and has provisions for the RMS Pinch Roller Belt management system. The RMS Mulit Roller Blower-Drive system eliminates belt slip and extends belt life in the 10 psi plus setups. This system features two billet-dual-bearing 6061 aluminum pinch-rollers at the blower to assure possitive traction and one easy-adjustable billet-dual-bearing 6061 aluminum tensioner on an independent slide adjuster. Supercharger - Our ongoing relation ship with Vortech Engineering and their loyal commitment to providing the highest quality of superchargers has been the mainstay in consistent and repeatable performance with the highest of reliability. We are proud to have them as a supplier and friend in the quest to built the fastest BMW road going machines. The S62 program uses the V2Si Supercharger. The efficiency band of the compressor side is an obvious match for the BMW S62 V8.



Blower Drive - We spend a great deal time and effort making the best blower drive components for our kits. The RMS Modular Crank Pulley is a two piece modular design. It makes it possible to replace the drive pulley with out having to purchase an entire Crank Pulley setup. It's also a quick-change setup for for engines running multiple tunes, track and street. The Hub always remains in place. ( see optional pulley setups in the Blower Drive category)

Airflow Management - Much thought goes into our airflow components. All components are designed keeping two driving factors in mind, temperature and velocity. The Thermoplastic air intake system integrates By-Pass control and PCV systems. This RMS By-Pass Valve diverts large amounts of air when not needed, and maximizes gas mileage and smooth drive-ability by efficiently controlling air flow anomalies. When the accelerator is applied, high rpm power responds instantly.

Charge Air Cooling - The RMS Air to Liquid Aftercooler Manifold is an RMS original innovation. Although this high tech cooling design adds to the price of a standard air to air system, the added performance far exceeds the added cost. Some history; In 2001, we were the first to developed a charge-air-cooler integrated inside an intake manifold . Prior to that, in 1995, we successfully used pre-manifold charge-air-cooling (Aftercooler) on the S50 US engines. The competition laughed at this approach but today many of them are trying to learn this art of charge-air cooling. BMW uses this technology on the twin turbo V8 automobiles. It is also being used by many top tuners worldwide on exotic engines, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and more.

Software - Engine management is done on the factory chip. We recalibrate the software for efficiency, power and reliability. All software is done in-house in our dyno laboratory. We do not depend on outside sources for this difficult engineering practice. In-house means, best quality control and most efficient process to deliver the software. No need to send your ECU, the kit comes with plug and play flash programmer. We have calibrations for all modified cars, low compression gaskets, manifolds, headers, etc.
